2015 Corn Mazes in and near the Lehigh Valley
I have compiled a list of corn mazes for myself and I thought I'd share them with you!
-The drive times are VERY approximate from the area of Dorney Park.
-The prices are for adult admission, some places charge less for children.
-Remember-bring CASH! Most farms do NOT have credit card machines! Bring extra if you think you might want to buy snacks or fall décor.
-Some places have hours on Columbus day as well-but I don't have off that day so I didn't list them.
-If you decide to visit a corn maze, remember to dress appropriately (sturdy shoes you dont mind getting muddy-it IS a farm!), wear sunscreen or bug spray if needed, and bring the right supplies with you! (plenty of water, snacks, a flashlight if its close to dusk, a walking stick, emergency medications (inhaler, epi-pen)-there are better lists of what to bring around the internet) Corn mazes are TONS of fun, but you should still be prepared-take what you would bring on a hike! *NOTE-it can get VERY hot in a corn maze mid-day (especially in Sept!), so you may want to go in the late afternoon/evening if its warm and sunny!
-Some of the websites have coupons for discounted admission, so its worth looking around!
-If the admission cost for a maze is at or under $4, it is probably mainly meant for kids
*I will include notes about the conditions of the maze paths under each listing as we visit different mazes!

*The paths are kept nicely clear in this maze. It is on the smaller/simpler side, but I like that for a day that I'm not up to wandering for hours in a corn field. This years was more challenging than last years which made it more fun. Just challenging enough to be fun for adults. The pints of apple cider that are available are a tasty treat for after your maze adventure. We also stopped at Hunsicker Grove park which is nearby (as we have in past years) and enjoyed the scenery there. The fall colors haven't started yet, but I can attest when they do this is a lovely place to see them!

*This maze was closed last year, and reopened this year which had me excited since I enjoyed it in past years. I was sorely disappointed though. It was even simpler than Savige Farms, which is about the simplest maze that I would find amusing as an adult. SO-this wasn't very amusing and we solved it in about 15 mins. On top of that, the price was WAAAY too high for the length/difficulty provided. I would have been less upset if i only paid $3-$4 rather than $6.50 per person. The paths were what I call average-a few rocks, but mostly fairly non-treacherous, which is good. This maze had clues for a crossword hidden throughout, which is unique and something I haven't done before, BUT I am awful at crosswords and spelling so not the most fun for me. We did drive up the road then and enjoyed a walk on the Appalachian trail for about a mile, which was nice-and I highly recommend doing that if you DO choose to visit this maze. I honesty dont recommend this maze however.
